• Washoe County Schools (Reno + Sparks) - Public school system for Reno, Sparks, and Incline Village including elementary, middle, and high schools. 

• University of Nevada Reno - State chartered University located in Reno, just north of the main casino district.  Also known as "Nevada" or "UNR".

• Truckee Meadows Community College - Reno's primary public community / junior college also known as "TMCC".
