Reno has a growing list of excellent quality, new condos throughout the downtown area in both high-rise, and 2-3 story condominium complexes. Downtown Reno condos are convenient to dining, gaming, and entertainment-- and are popular both with frequent visitors and locals looking for a city lifestyle.

Condos offer a lower cost of purchase and lower maintenance, as a tradeoff for higher monthly association dues that include a variety of services and amenities.

Most Reno condo complexes are new construction during the past three years and offer high end amenities similar to other large western U.S. cities. The higher floors of most condo buildings allow for stunning views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Condominiums in Downtown Reno Nevada:

The majority of these condos are conversions of former hotel-casinos. A wealth of casino, show, and entertainment options complement great restaurants around downtown Reno.

The Montage: Construction nearing completion.

Leading Reno condo conversion is underway and being promoted heavily for new purchasers. Construction underway to convert the former Reno Flamingo Hilton and Golden Phoenix down to its frame for downtown Reno condominiums. Sparks Nevada Condos

The District at Victorian Square

Worth a look - a great location near movies, street festivals, and dining in downtown Sparks Nevada's Victorian Square. Sparks is a well managed city right next to Reno with excellent summer farmer's market weekly music festivals; an annual huge rib cookoff, and many other cool events. The condos are right next to the movie theater and are selling well with prices starting around $250k. There will be 171 condominiums ranging from 760 - 2,000 square feet on a 3 acre parcel of 3-4 story buildings. This is a great and unique location where you can really enjoy a vibrant entertainment district.

Fallen Leaf Condos (South Suburban Reno): Desperate close-out of condos constructed at the height of the real estate bubble with over 15 still available in February 2008. A cookie cutter set of "condo's" on Mount Rose Highway that look suspiciously like apartments. Original prices were $310; $320; and $340k. Now $240k; $250k; & $257k.
